With today’s technology it is very easy for people to access therapy from the comfort of their own homes. Online counselling works in very much the same way as face-to-face counselling does. The client and counsellor agree a time and a way in which to communicate, this can be via any one of a number of applications such as: Zoom or Skype from a personal computer or laptop; or Facetime or WhatsApp via a mobile phone or iPad.
Some people may feel a little unsure when it comes to counselling online, the technology used may feel a little unfamiliar to some. This is all perfectly understandable, and I would be happy to talk over the phone about how we can setup and even help you connect prior to a counselling session.
