Profile

Karl Harter

Counsellor

Trained as an Integrative Counsellor, I work with Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Transactional Analysis. In addition to this I’m also trained to deliver Therapy Outdoors, which takes counselling out of the traditional counselling room and into the countryside where we can engage with Nature while working therapeutically.

I have specific training and experience in bereavement counselling from my time as a volunteer with Oldham Bereavement Support Service. I have additional training in working with trauma and victims of sexual abuse, and I have worked as a counsellor for young people at the charity Off the Record Twickenham for almost 6 years. In addition, I have experience of working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, anger, low self-esteem, ADHD, Autism, Sexual Abuse, Suicide Ideation and Self-Harm.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). You can find out more about the BACP here. I offer counselling and psychotherapy in and around London, either indoors within a counselling room in the city or outdoors in parks and the countryside. Feel free to contact me for more information. You can link to my BACP Registration listing here, or checkout my Counselling Directory listing here.

Reach for Help is located at 12 Tokenhouse Yard, London EC2R 7AS, just 8 minutes walk from Bank Tube Station, or 12 minutes walk from Cannon St Station.
